In short
The best padel Mallorca offers is in and around Palma, where Palma Padel and Mallorca Pádel Indoor have covered and indoor glass courts. Alcúdia, Playa de Muro, Sóller and Colonia de Sant Jordi have clubs too. Go from March to May or September to November, and book through Playtomic or the club.
Mallorca gives a padel player more choice than one week can use. There are floodlit courts above the sea at Portals Nous, indoor glass in central Palma for the hot afternoons and a full training week at the Rafa Nadal Academy in Manacor. Play runs all year, and the club scene is busy enough that a weekend court needs booking ahead. Pick your base first, then your courts: the island is small, but the clubs are spread out.
Where are the best padel clubs in and around Palma?
Palma is where the island's padel scene runs deepest, and Palma Padel is the obvious first stop. It sits next to the Son Moix stadium, between the La Vileta and Son Rapinya roundabouts, and has 8 uncovered doubles courts, 4 covered doubles courts and 4 singles courts, all blue grass and glass. The glass is the back and side walls that keep the ball in play after it bounces, and half the craft of padel is reading it. The covered courts have high ceilings, a bonus for anyone who loves a lob. The club runs tournaments and rankings, with a bar-restaurant, a terrace and its own parking. It suits anyone who wants one reliable club for the whole week.
For guaranteed shade, Mallorca Pádel Indoor on Calle Velluters has six indoor glass doubles courts, two of them with 7 m ceilings. It rents rackets and has free parking, a cafeteria and changing rooms. In Nou Llevant, Padel Club Patronato sits five minutes from the city centre with renovated courts and an academy. Padel Club Mallorca has 8 glass doubles courts, air-conditioned changing rooms and a shop that rents rackets. Palma Racket Club, founded in 1999, adds classes, an academy and equipment rental. Padel Factory Son Castelló runs events and coaching in the Son Castelló industrial area.
A short drive out, Sporting Club Portals in Portals Nous has four floodlit outdoor courts with sea views. Padelmon Palmanyola has eight outdoor courts in the pines off the Sóller road, with a café and a barbecue area for the post-match chat. Terreno Club in El Terreno is a members' club with three courts and a pool: ask before you count on a court. If you want to stay in the city, Iberostar Waves Cristina is theKlub's padel-friendly hotel in Palma.

Pick a club near your base outside Palma
Outside Palma, pick the club in your own town and skip the drive. In the north, Smash Padel Group in Playa de Muro is billed as the largest padel club in the Balearic Islands. It has 10 ultra-panoramic courts (frameless glass, so the view is clear), a singles court, a gym, a shop and a therapy room. In Alcúdia, the Club de Pádel y Tenis Alcúdia Bellevue has 5 outdoor courts and organises group matches by level. That suits a couple or a solo player looking for a game. In town, theKlub's base is Bordoy Mostatxins, an adults-only boutique hotel in Alcudia that guests rate 9.8 out of 10. Along the coast in Can Picafort, Padel Nou Vell Mari has four outdoor courts in the grounds of the Vell Marí Hotel and Resort. It offers private and group lessons, and suits families who want easy-going padel.
In the south, Sport Padel Colonia in Colonia de Sant Jordi has five courts to rent. It opens Monday to Saturday from 4 pm to 11 pm, so you play after the beach rather than instead of it. Blau Colònia Sant Jordi is in the same town. In the Tramuntana mountains, Sóller Tennis and Padel Club sits just outside Sóller on the MA-10. Its four green courts sit among citrus trees, with an outdoor café and a 25 m pool in summer. In the east, the Rafa Nadal Academy in Manacor has nine outdoor and ten indoor padel courts. theKlub's padel-friendly stays across the island are on our padel in Mallorca page.

When is the best time to play padel in Mallorca?
The best months for padel in Mallorca are March to May and September to November. Average highs climb from 17.6°C in March to 24.2°C in May, and fall from 28.0°C in September to 18.7°C in November. July and August average highs of 32.8°C and 32.3°C, which turns a midday outdoor match into a sauna session. In summer, book an indoor or covered court, or play early and late: Padelmon Palmanyola is open until 11 pm, and Sporting Club Portals floodlights all its courts. Not every court on the island has lights, so check before you book an evening slot.
Spring and autumn bring their own catch: coastal winds that make lobs drift, and September averages 9.1 days with rain. Winter stays mild, with January highs of 15.0°C, but rain makes a covered court the safe choice. The table below shows when theKlub travellers book their Mallorca stays, from our own bookings. So far they come in September, for a median of 2 nights.

Book a court and find your fourth player
Visitors book padel courts in Mallorca on Playtomic, the court booking app, or directly with the club. Mallorca Pádel Indoor in Palma takes bookings on Playtomic from 09:00 to 23:00 on weekdays and until 21:00 at weekends, and Padel Club Patronato in Nou Llevant takes them on its own website or on Playtomic. The app also lists Palma Padel, Palma Racket Club, Pádel Club Mallorca, Pádel Factory and UdyrSport nearby, so one account covers most of the city. Smaller clubs work their own way: Sporting Club Portals books through its own system or by phone at reception. Weekend courts fill first, so book as soon as your dates are fixed. Mallorca Pádel Indoor and Padel Club Mallorca rent rackets, but not every club does. If you have a racket you trust, pack it, with shoes made for artificial turf.
Short of a fourth? Padelmon Palmanyola lets single players join games that need one more. Alcúdia Bellevue sets up group matches by level, and Sóller Tennis and Padel Club runs a WhatsApp group for social matches. Expect strong club players in pick-up games: a beginner does best with a club that organises matches by level.
Train with a coach or join a padel camp
For a week built around training, the Rafa Nadal Academy in Manacor runs a Padel and Fitness Camp for adults over 18, all year subject to availability. It runs Sunday to Sunday, with 12 hours of padel a week in groups of up to four and 5 hours of padel-specific fitness. The camp adapts to each player's level, from beginners up. Players come from all over the world, so the common language on court is English. A half-week version suits a shorter trip, and a version without accommodation lets you keep your own hotel.
For a lesson between beach days, Palma Padel's school with A2 Sports runs private and group classes for adults and children, plus a summer campus. In Sóller, the director of padel, David Ferragut, is a former top 200 player. Sporting Club Portals has a padel school led by coach Ramón Pascual. One early hour on your bandeja, the sliced overhead that keeps the other pair pinned at the back, sets up the rest of the week. What is the padel scene like in Mallorca?
Mallorca's padel scene is competitive and busy all year. The Federació de Pàdel de les Illes Balears, the islands' padel federation, runs the ConectaBalear circuit, now in its sixth edition, alongside a Mallorca league and a veterans league. The Spanish Padel Federation counts 73 federated clubs and 5,557 player licences across the Balearic federation. Clubs hold their own tournaments too: Palma Padel calls its Sant Sebastià event one of the island's classics.
The professionals come as well. The International Padel Federation (FIP) opened its 2026 European season at the Rafa Nadal Academy with the FIP Bronze Mallorca, from 19 to 25 January. It was the FIP Tour's first event in Spain that year, with eleven players ranked in the world's top 100. If a tournament falls in your week, it is worth an afternoon in the stands.
